Thats exactly how I feel about it. It was a great game on it's own.
This is good news. I have been waiting for this since the Gameinformer article in '09. I just hope it's as good as they talked about back then. If so then it will be great!
Being a dual platform gamer is the best position to take. You get the best from both camps, and don't have to be an elitist a-hole. It is a pure win for all!
I don't understand the Conviction hate all over the internet. If it wasn't branded as a Splinter Cell game I feel it would not warrent any complaints. The gameplay is solid. The sound and visuals are AAA quality, and the co-op and Infiltration modes are loads of fun with a friend. So waht if it is not a "TRUE" splinter cell or what ever. Can't we just enjoy games for what the are and not what we wish they would be?
I seem to remember that they had a disclamer in thier TV commercial. At the end it said, and I paraphrase "For the definitive COD expierence only on XBOX360."
Now I know what they meant by that.
Really. Then I guess you never played Thier version of Fallout 3. The fixed the leveling issue. The entire world is already what ever level they will ever be. If you walk into a super-mutant camp at level one you'll get your ass handed to you. The world no longer levels with you. Concidering this was your only complaint your article is junk!
It sounds like they just got lazy again and repackaged the cars for christmas. Kind of like regifting. It falls under the same situation as giving us a standard version of the Veyron but a premium version of the 1964 VW bus. Sometimes thier design choices baffle me! If the standard cars were imports from GT4 then why is the Veyron not a premium? It didn't even exist back then. They actually just made it inferior. But hey! I have a premium VW bus, and 1950's VW 'thing' army veh...
I love tomb raider. Even the bad ones. I look fowrard to each one when it comes out. There is just something about them I really enjoy. That said, Uncharted is the next step in that kind of game. I hope CD took notes.
I would love to have System Shock 1 & 2 packaged together as one of those new HD remakes everyone is doing. Don't remake it, just re-release it for us to play on todays equipment. While we are at it Thief 1 & 2, and the first 2 deus ex's. And Jedi Knight 1 & 2.
I 100% agree. I love Jedi Knight II: Outcast.
I think you all are missing the point of the article. They want you to find the name of that really hot girl demostrating the kinsect in the picture.
So do you drive a $500 beater car just because it gets you from point A to point B. All it does is drive you around. Believe it or not poeple like to have nice things sometimes. And if it free it is even better.
I am a DiRt franchise fan, and this one looks like a great improvement from part 2. I for one am very excited, and look foward to it.
Thank you.
...You people need to learn comprhension, and reading between the lines. Marketing is very important especially for games like Heavy Rain. Cliffy has a point. They missed an entire market share by not targeting women in the places they frequent ie. magazines, and tv shows they read and watch. Games are almost always pushed on guys and advertised to them in our magazines, and tv shows.
Shows like CSI and Criminal Minds have a predominatly female demographic. He may actually ...
I lost all my bubbles on one dissagree comment in a Forza 3 vs GT5 thread. It is totally f'ed up the way it works. I had 6 and now only 3. Total b/s.
Improving the shooting!?! It looks like you missed the point of the game. The next one should not even allow you to pick up a gun. Now THAT would be a bold and ballsy move. But it would also be a very different game on the already cluttered landscape of shooters.
Thief 2 was one of the first computer games I played. I was new to the FPS thing, and it is what introduced me to it. I though they were all like that. It is too bad there were not more of them. In that same time there was deus ex, system shock 2 and star wars jedi outcast. They are all great game. There is something really lacking in the over-the-counter FPS games of today. The closest thing I have found is the new Splinter Cell. If you force yourself to play all steath it is fairly rewardin...
I agree 100%. Riddick was one of my favorite games. I even re-bought it when it was redone for the 360 with Dark Athena added on. It was still great.
I have enough things in my life that frustrate me (work, bills, kids, and I still can't do a standing 360deg. flip). When I play games I play to relax, and have fun. I will play on what ever difficulty gives me MY PERSONAL expierence I want. I am not worried if it makes me a 'real' gamer or not. Concidering I have been playing videogames since 1980 on my first ATARI, I feel fairly confident in my gaming status. The games back then didn't offer difficulty settings. You just pla...
